What is the “TBD” Marketing Wizard? TBD is the "pseudo" name given to Bumarang’s web-based Marketing / Advertising Engine - also referred to as a Marketing Wizard. Although the concept for a web-based engine application had already been in existence for some time, the conceptualization for enhancing the daily marketing and advertising necessities for the sales divisions of two publically traded, NYSE companies can be credited to Richard S. Donine, founder of Bumarang Marketing Concepts, Inc. “How do you create individualized, custom materials for anyone and everyone that can potentially increase their selling capacity and at the same time avoid creating a marketing department resource issue?” This was Donine’s Marketing Department challenge which occurred during an extremely active market where competitive positioning was crucial. “Providing the creative material was never the issue,” says Donine. “But we wanted to give our internal and external selling agents every advantage possible. It’s imperative that they have the highest quality, time/date sensitive materials at their fingertips, ready to print or forward as a PDF attachment.” From a marketing department perspective, the process is easy and extremely fast. Ads are generated and posted through an Administrative Portal. Selling agents login to their landing page (which is managed by the marketing department). From there, they click on the ad they need and a PDF is generated containing the ad and all of the pertinent contact information.
